This past 2017 year was a big one for the Wang family. The twins worked really hard on catching up weight and height wise with their peers, learned to eat solids, sit up, crawl, and now, they are on the road to walking.
This was also a big travel year for the twins. Their first trip was to the sunny beaches of Playa Del Carmen, MX, then off to Seattle to visit family, overseas to Taiwan to meet their great grandma, and ended the year celebrating in Avon with close friends.
The Hotel Monaco is centrally located in downtown Denver one block from the outdoor 16th street mall. Everything we did in downtown was either a short walk or a cheap Uber ride away. There was always someone at the front to greet you, get the door and offer to get a taxi if needed. Before the lobby there was a chalkboard dog with the names of all the visiting pets in the hotel. We were delighted to see Parker’s name there!
Every year for the past 4 years, my cousin’s and I have gotten together for an annual trip to connect and to spend an entire weekend together bonding. This year we all voted on Denver, CO. Since there’s a pretty good size group of us (9 + Parker), we all agreed to three components which includes a group tour, an outdoor activity and a brewery. We were able to check all the boxes in Denver.
