I had the opportunity to spend the day at a chalet 30 minutes outside of Montreal in a town called Saint-Anicet in Quebec.
As we drove up to the chalet, the scene was serene and peaceful. The English translation of a chalet is a cottage or cabin. This one was set right off of Lake St. Francois surrounded by beautiful trees and scenic views.
We spent most of our time chatting, eating, fishing, playing cards, and relaxing by the fire.
With the daily stresses in life, don’t forget to take the time to enjoy those around you and build meaningful relationships.
Enjoy!

Wow super cute retreat!! I’m really envious of your time there… I wish I could just take off from work now and go sit by the water, eat some delicious food and play cards also! Are those enchiladas that you were eating?
Sartorial Diner
Thanks Stephanie! It’s actually crepes wrapped with jambon (ham), asparagus, green onions and Parmesan. It’s baked with cheese on top for 20 minutes, and served with bechamel sauce. Super good and quick brunch idea! I hope you get a break from work to relax soon 🙂
